I went to the Cowboy Christian Fair in Carlsbad, New Mexico this past weekend. It was really nice. The people there were so helpful and kind. I took some pictures of the event. It wasn't as big as some events that I have gone to but this was their first year of holding the event. Here is the first thing you see when entering the building:
Food
These ladies were selling some good food with Cookies! Who doesn't love cookies..
I wish I would have gotten their names but just didn't think to.
As you enter the main room you see this:
The band stage and seats.
Some of the singers from the band "Desert Reign" are here at the sound board. They have great voices! (They also sell their annointed music) In the background you can see my face painting table.
My table is to the right of the entrance of the main room.
Here are the supplies that I used for the event.
Here is a poster of what I allowed my customers to choose from.
And before I show the paintings I did, here is another wonderful person I met who travels with the band and sells beautiful jewelry! I wish I would have gotten a picture of Janet (the wonderful lady who helped advertise my business as well as get a booth in this event) but the only thing I have of her is her doing a sign language ministry with music. I'll see if I can upload that video onto my website.
OKAY! NOW ONTO THE FACE PAINTING!!!
As you can see I didn't have a lot of business but it was still good.
I didn't get a picture of some of the ladies that let me paint on their faces (I forgot to do so) nor of the 6-month-old, little girl whom I painted a little heart on.
Overall, the event was really good. There were great people, wonderful music, and heart-touching testimonies. I hope more people will come out to this event next year. :)
